hello. hi, i’m alena aharon. i’m an artist and a jewellry designer. i live in munich and here is my apartment and also a workshop. come on in. so, tell me again how it all started. i’ve always been passionate about creating something. these are handmade items, of course. i like things that are lively, living. that’s a little baroque, from the baroque era, but it also goes very well with modern stuff too. these are the brand new ones... that’s with jade, jade droplets.
it’s perfect in combination with an evening dress. so now we’re in the next room, more specifically your kitchen. yes, this is where i sew. here’s where i’m going to finish the necklets. i use these tassels too for the black necklet. you make those yourself. correct. i make it out of this japanese silk. i buy it in a boutique which, conveniently enough, is just around the corner from me. i was so happy that i found product.
my family and my friends totally supported me. my mother, together with my sister, bought me stones and brought this whole palette here. and we started, with making new things out of old jewellry. before, i only sold to my circle of friends and acquaintances. after the launch of amazon handmade, i sold my first products after just five hours. i think it’s great, and it was a great success for me. i never want to stop!
