so when people learn that i just went tonorway the first question they ask is why norway? why take 17-hour flightwith 5 hour overlay to see norway? what's there? honestly before i arrived innorway i asked myself the same thing here are my 1 2 3 8 observations they are just observationsnot anything to you probablythat i found in norway number onethere is a lot of tall people and i don't know if because i was born and raised in asia so tall people intimidate melike not in a bad way but just wow i would marvel at their heightis that discriminative?

and this thing about the weather in norway i mean you hear people describe scandinavian weather being really rainy and you can hardly see the sunwell i thought it was just an exaggeration but when i actually got to norway seriously i think there was only 29 hours of sunny weather that you can actually see sun coming through the clouds 29 hoursduring the whole ten days that i was there and i guess if you are traveling mostly in oslo which is the capital city you'd see more of the sun but when you get to the morei guess suburban area fjord bergen flam voss expect the rainequip all your waterproof clothing boots rain boots umbrellas raincoatseverything

despite the rain, people in norway don't really carry umbrellas around even though it's like pouring i guess it's just so rainy all the time thatthey're used to walking in the rain biking in the rain, do everything in therain i mean you'd notice this more when you'reout of oslo the capital city and this one thing is also true about the cities town outside of oslo that is forget about the prices when you're in the city i guess it's more accessible to resources but when you are out and about in thesuburban area it's just hard

the resources are scarce so you really need to relax a little bit with your wallet to enjoy norway because you wouldn't want it to stop you from trying all the exotic meats okay i i have to admit that when i saw whale burger on the menu i mean.... i....i......it didn'teven taste that good honestly whale meat it tasted very fishy and not a pleasant tastemaybe it's the restaurant? but whale patty?it's not something i want to try again when you're in the capital city of osloyou can't help but notice that

everywhere you go you see elements ofart and design and i mean that's when i arrived at the airporti walked into the bathroom in the airport i was like wow this is really simplistic minimalistic and it really gives you that fresh and clean lookand i guess that says a lot about how people livejust a simple life but one thingwhen you're traveling and taking the bus, the ferry, the metroin their capital city oslo you go on the busthey don't check your tickets you just go on it and occasionally you'll encounter the ticket person

he would come up on the bus and come off to check your tickets spontaneously but other than that it's just an amazing demonstration of the faith and trust in humanity they trust you that that youwould pay the ticket and that's something that really speaks to me about how norway is more developed than most of the countries
