hey guys,it’s me – lyonel! welcome to the second part of our diva series. today i’ll show you how it looked like behind the scenes of this shooting. let's go! concept shooting ii the diva series, is about men who, in an exaggerated way, have to take care of the household for their wives. in the last video we saw jerome cleaning up behind his lady. this time we want to up the ante and degrade the men to items and furniture. as location we used an attic from leuengold, it’s my regular location, where i’ve had several shootings before.

but before this we have to plan everything first. for this shooting i picked three beautiful models. first tanja borissova, svea jill and zara axeronias. the male models were nils, michael and jerome. all together these are six models for one scene, so you should be well prepared. in this case i drew a concept sketch. ideally it’s the finished picture but on paper, but at least you can orient yourself on this sketch. because it was rather cold on the shooting day we let the models stay in the warm, while they were getting read. in this time we built the set and did some test pictures, with ourselves. first i photographed the models single and paired. according to my opinion, if you plan a group picture, you take this at last, so you can get used to everyone beforehand, like a warm up, so that in the end everyone is geared to each other.

for the final picture, everyone got their position assigned from the sketch. then everyone stays in their role until the picture is set. wrap up what we need for a concept shooting with several people. 1. the conceptwe should think about the characters being in this concept and how they relate to each other 2. set preparationthe set should be ready, before the models are coming. the best thing is, if the models are in a separate room, than the set, so you can avoid chaos. 3. model choicethe models should fit your idea and they should fit to each other 4. the concept sketchdon’t underestimate this, it doesn’t have to be a detailed masterpiece, but you can orientate yourself on the sketch and you can show it to the whole team. if you like the video i’d be happy if you subscribe or give this video a thumbs up. we see us the next time.
