okay guys, special airbnb tour. we are staying in a coach house in wales andthere is audrey. we sure are. come on in. so yeah, first time staying in a convertedcoach house. i guess this is where people would have keptlike their little you know horse and buggy back in the day but now it has been convertedto like a proper self-contained apartment so it is pretty cool. the main house is just over there.
yeah, we're out in the back so we've got ourprivacy. it is a pretty big house and it has been splitup into apartments. the main house. yeah. but this is awesome. it feels like yeah it feels like we have ourown like little tiny house almost. here in cardiff. alright, let's give you a tour. as soon as you walk in you've got this bigcouch which opens up into a double bed.
yeah, and we've actually never made it intoa couch. it has just been a bed the whole time. the whole time. then we've got a table. this is where we've been doing a lot of ourcomputer work and also just you know having our meals here. nice couches. super relaxing. so one of the coolest features about thisairbnb is that we have this massive movie
screen and we have these blinds so we canlike darken the place. and we have a projector. it is a home theatre. like that thing is huge. huge. so the projector is up there. yep. and we can watch movies or netflix or youtube. we've been watching netflix, youtube.
like this has been and we've both been sickso this has been the coolest. it worked out really well because we neededto rest and we've been yeah. it is basically just everything is controlledwith the playstation. i had to figure out how to use of these. kind of tricky. and then we had that was the sound system. super cool. yeah, that is definitely the coolest thingabout this airbnb. we made really good use of that.
alright, so let's continue with the tour. over here we've got a nice big desk and samkind of claimed this area. yeah, i sure did. with his fancy computer chair. look at me. haha, yeah. basically. and this part was not for us obviously. this is off limits.
this guy, this couple has a really impressivewine collection. it is amazing and yeah that is not for us. not for us. don't touch anything. no. and yeah, we've got like your little kitchenarea. wash your dishes, stovetop. we didn't use it at all. kettle.
oh, we were eating really healthy we usedthis was so cool. a nutribullet. a nutri bullet. we made so many smoothies while we were here. yeah, it is basically a smoothie maker andwe were just like putting in what we had almond milk and we were just buying like all kindsof different berries. oh, coconut milk even better. that is right. it was coconut milk.
you know what was also nice? we had a washer and a dryer and you reallyneed a dryer when you're traveling the uk because things just don't dry. it is so humid and damp every single day. seriously, it is. and yeah, we had a fridge. oh and you know what? this couple that runs the airbnb they leftus food. i know.
like this is so rare. they left us breakfast items. so we had like oatmeal, cereal, bread. they were some of the most thoughtful hostswe've ever had. they would come knocking on our door likesometimes in the afternoon. with cookies. they brought us welsh cakes. and they left us, yeah they left us porridgeand bread and juice. it was really nice.
super nice hosts. and they also gave us a little tour of ourneighborhood. like how many hosts do that. most airbnb hosts are like just fend for yourselves. here is the key enjoy your time. but they were very involved which was cool. bathroom. owe. haha.
did you hit your funny bone? hahaha. yeah, so we have a big walk in shower. i'll show you guys that. it is a cool shower. very quite spacious for european uk standards. it is quite nice. and then just a standard toilet. hello!
so since it was only the two of us we basicallyjust used the ground level but you can actually book this airbnb if you're a whole familyand there is another level up there. there is the ladder. with like a ladder. i'm trying to show you guys but that is ashigh as i can get. and yeah, there is a um another bed up therebut we don't know how to reach the ladder. if we did we'd be like up there. but it is another bedroom. we saw the photos.
yeah, this has been a really good airbnb. had a good time here. alright guys, basically to wrap things upthis was an awesome airbnb. the price was basically a steal. it was in the fifty dollar range. which is great value especially in the uk. it can be very expensive to rent places here. also, the hosts, as we've mentioned before,were just awesome. amazing.
super friendly and we really liked our neighborhoodas well. we were just a little bit outside of the citycentre. we're in pontcanna. yeah, yeah it was cool because it had a realneighborhood vibe like we visited a few different restaurants and the locals who ran the placestarted to recognize us and just people in wales are so friendly. so friendly. we talked to so many people. some of the friendliest people we've met anywheretraveling and it just made for a great travel
