i wonder what the brits will come up with for the next thunder show? maybe they’ll start taking out mauses with their tetrarchs or something? we’ll, let’s wait and see! for now, let’s award crimson samurai for his skill and sense of humor! have these 5000 golden eagles, nigel! so, what are the deadliest things in war thunder? let’s list some of them: enemy shells, thin armor of your tank, bombs, artillery, bodies of water, assorted pitfalls, novice players, friendly fire… well now, these are rather obvious. they do kill you in combat. but we’re missing something important here. that’s your allies good armor.
no, i’m serious. let’s look at this video to find out why. here we see the zsu-37 hastily coming for help of the allied american t92 light tank. but, the soviet aaa spots the enemy leopard and decides to roll back into cover for safety. now, the enemy leopard takes a shot with its apds against the t92. but what? but it is the zsu-37 that explodes! now that is what i call one in a million ricochet. the t92 got lucky, big time. this guy managed to bounce one of the most penetrating shells of the entire game with his turret, while the zsu-37 was extremely unlucky to end up in the way of a ricocheting shot! do you understand now,
why allied armor can be just as deadly to you and your friends as anything else out there? thanks to sazura1986 for this video, he just earned himself 5000 golden eagles! we’ve seen a number of really epic videos on thunder show. some authors were lucky, some had a natural talent for epic stuff. but in this case, we’ve got both factors in about an equal measure. what’s so epic about this one you ask? this guy managed to destroy six enemy tanks, in two separate groups mind you and pretty much win the game for his entire team. all in a single pass and with just two bombs! was it because of luck or talent? who cares as long as you win and win like a pro, while you’re at it!
congrats to mr. bournce, enjoy those 5000 eagles! you are looking at this video right now and you see a t-54 and a b-17. what these two got in common? a medium tank vs a heavy bomber. what are you saying? the b-17 is going to bomb the t-54? nope, that’s too obvious to be fun. wait, what? the t-54 is about to shoot the bomber down? nope. what you are about to see is the first of its kind on thunder show. see this shell? try to guess where it came from. no, it was not fired from the t-54’s gun. but it was that very same tank that took out this b-17. how? with an artillery strike! yes, you heard it right. the b-17 was in fact shot down by a lucky artillery shell.
